Shaw Theatres PLQ

Shaw Organisation is a cinema chain and film distribution company established by brothers Runme Shaw and Run Run Shaw. They traveled to Singapore in the 1920s to grow their family business, which was originally started by Runje Shaw.

The design concept is anchored in a contemporary and dynamic aesthetic, characterized by fluid lines and strategic lighting elements. The entrance showcases a spacious layout with a circular flow, inviting visitors to explore the various screening options available. A thoughtful juxtaposition of high-contrast materials, such as natural stone and light-toned wood, creates an ambiance that is both sophisticated and invigorating.

Within the theater spaces, the design prioritizes both comfort and acoustic performance. The incorporation of plush seating and state-of-the-art sound technology immerses the audience in the cinematic experience.
